Though I enjoy your atmospheric instrumental work, generally I've preferred the rock 'n' roll songs. This piece, however, is truly transporting. Sounds like a breakthrough, in terms of your more ambient work. It's as if it dares to veer from the easily dreamy cassette-fi aesthetic to rely instead on more confident, exploratory composition. (Dare I use the word 'spiritual'?) So thanks for all the great sounds.
ReplyDeleteOh, and the notion of funeral strippers is quite simply genius.
