In a world where so much focus is placed on pop music or overpaid rock stars in general. This demonstrates "real music" and the pure love these people have for it. I especially enjoyed the Vietnam street performers. Such sincerity.
yeah I just saw group doueh last night they played a free concert for jazz fest in MTL. they were really amazing. music will always exist, with or without our "critique" and "judgment". so inspiring
Sir, great post! To be open and inspired by such a spectrum of soul music, without the need to over analyse or monetise, not only helps inform your own work but gives it that unique and enduring element. Really dig listening to your music, looking forward to seeing you play in London again too. Noticed your fondness of photographing great meals, but no photographs of food you ate were taken in England... I'm not offended, but your local guides must have failed you!
